Lincoln’s School Site Council (SSC) has four openings for parent representatives for the 2020-21 school year.
Being an SSC representative is a fantastic opportunity for you to be involved with high-level vision and planning for the school, as well as to get to know Principal Culpepper and the Lincoln staff.

About SSC:
The SSC mission is to review the academic and cultural plan for the school and advise as to how school monies should be spent. The SSC is composed of 16 members including Principal Florence Culpepper, 6 teachers, 1 classified staff member, and 8 parents.
How to get involved:
The Lincoln community votes to elect new SSC members each year. If you would like to be included on the ballot, please send in a 1-2 paragraph bio that highlights why you want to serve on SSC, and how you meet the qualifications below. Please send your bio to Elena Martin, emartin@smmusd.org, by September 1st, 2020. Your bio will be included on the ballot.
SSC Qualifications/Experience:
- Commitment (share any volunteer experience that you think could be meaningful to the Site Council)
- School Culture (describe what perspectives you bring to the group that can influence our school culture)
- Educational Experience (share any background, work, or volunteer experience you have with education)
- Ability to Attend (must be available to attend monthly meetings at 3:20pm on Wednesdays). Meetings are held virtually during distance learning.
