What’s the challenge?
Project Green Challenge is a month-long international event, with daily environmental challenges for middle and high school students. Students can participate individually or in a group of up to four people.
Students participate by submitting daily assignments throughout October to SMMUSD judges.
Winners will be announced at the end of October. Three winners from each of the middle school and high school categories will receive cash prizes.
For more information and the challenge rules see this flyer.
More about Project Green Challenge
Here’s what Project Green Challenge says about the challenge:
We hope to touch lives, shift mindsets, and equip students with knowledge, resources and mentorship to lead the change on campuses and communities across the globe.
Through conscious living, informed consumption, and individual and collective action, PGC participants are challenged to envision and work toward the healthy, just, and thriving planet they want to live in.
Each day during the month of October, a uniquely themed challenge will be delivered to registered PGC participants by email at 6 am Pacific Time. Each challenge will be live for 24 hours inviting participants to complete actions and upload deliverables to acquire points.
Deliverables include photos, videos, and text uploaded on the PGC site, as well as across Turning Green social platforms.
