Hello Orchestra Families,
Our Winter Concert is quickly approaching and the students and I are very excited to have the opportunity to share our music with a live audience. Below is a detailed list of instructions along with the link to pre-reserve tickets for the upcoming concert. This information has also been shared with all the students on our Google Classroom page.
When: Thursday November 18, 2021 @ 7:00pm
Where: Lincoln Middle School Auditorium & Live Stream (link to come)
Who: All Orchestra Levels and Students (String, Intermediate, Concert, and Chamber)
***All audience members who wish to attend in person must show proof of full vaccination (a photo of a vaccination card on a mobile device is acceptable) OR a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of the event start time. Audience members will also be required to wear a mask at all times while inside the auditorium.***
TICKETS
Tickets must be reserved ahead of time and are free, however we are asking for a modest donation of at least $5 per ticket to help support our orchestra program. All donations are tax deductible and your family name will be acknowledged in the appropriate category on our Concert Program. During the initial reservation period (Now until Nov 14th), each family will be limited to “purchase” (reserve) up to 3 tickets maximum per student. Your specific student ID number is required (enter as the promo code) in order to reserve tickets. From Nov 15th @ 8am until Nov 18th @ 3pm the remaining tickets will become available on a first come first serve basis (no limit) and student ID numbers will no longer be needed.
***Seating is based on first come first serve and tickets are all reserved/sold as general public.
HOW TO RESERVE YOUR TICKETS:
1. Visit our ticketing website
2. Read all FAQ
3. Click on “Tickets”
4. Click on “Enter Promo Code” & enter your musician’s Lincoln student ID number and click “Apply”
5. Reserve up to 3 tickets
6. Continue scrolling down if you would like to purchase a USB flash drive copy of the concert video
7. Continue scrolling down to make a donation (if you are able). Donations help to enrich your musician’s experience at Lincoln by providing sheet music, music coaches, supplies, repairs, etc.
8. Click “Check Out”
9. Enjoy the show!
***The tickets you will show at the auditorium front door the night of the concert will be emailed to you upon checking out. EventBrite lists all additional donations and items in your cart as separate tickets. THESE DO NOT COUNT AS ADDITIONAL TICKETS. EVEN IF YOU DONATE ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS THESE DO NOT COUNT AS TICKETS (even though they are listed as such. I know it is confusing but unfortunately, this is the way the website works).***
Additional information about Concert Attire and expectations can be found in our Orchestra Syllabus which all students have access to in Google Classroom. Please email me with any other concert questions or concerns!
