8th Grade Families – Does your child want to go to Pali Camp?

An opportunity has just become available, and the PTSA is now able to offer a Pali Camp 2-Day Overnight Trip. However, we must commit to Pali Camp with LMS’s $1500 nonrefundable deposit this Wed, March 1, 2023. We need to gauge the level of family interest before committing, so we ask you to please complete the online PARENT PLEDGE FORM by Tuesday, 2/28 at 5pm to confirm your intentions. 

In addition, to Pali Camp, we are able to confirm the following student activities that have been approved by the school administration:

  • Knott’s Berry Farm Day Trip
  • 8th Grade Dance
  • 8th Grade Beach Day
  • Yearbook Signing Day
  • Graduation Ceremony
  • Graduation Present

Aside from the excitement and fun that your child will experience at these class events, it will be a valuable bonding and memory-making experience for every 8th-grade student. We need help from our parents and community partners to make it possible for the entire class to attend these special events together. All students will participate in these events regardless of donations. The cost for these events for each student is as follows:

Pali Camp: $500.00 per student, May 12-14 – deposit due March 1

  • All-inclusive 2-night overnight trip to Pali Institute in Big Bear, CA
  • Transportation (charter bus)

Knott’s Berry Farm Day Trip: $150.00 per student, Date TBD

  • All-day park ticket
  • All-day meal plan
  • Souvenir cup
  • Transportation (charter bus)

8th Grade Dance: $25.00 per student, June 2

  • Food & Drink
  • DJ
  • Decorations, Photo Booth, Party Favors, etc.

TOTAL: $675.00 per student
