Important Updates About School Reopening
On Friday, March 26th, Principal Culpepper and Dr. Drati both sent out updates with important information about school reopening plans. Please take a few minutes to read these updates so that your students know what to expect when returning from Spring Break.
Action Needed: Please complete the district’s decision form about whether your student(s) intend to return to campus when school fully reopens on April 26th. The deadline for completing the form has been extended to Saturday, April 3rd at 5pm.
Questions? Look for the FAQ in Dr. Drati’s email update, sent to the SMMUSD community on March 31st. Check your spam/junk folder is you didn’t receive that email.
Travel Advisory – LA County Quarantine Requirements
If you’re planning to travel over Spring Break, please do follow the LA County quarantine requirements on your return. See this information from SMMUSD’s Nursing Team for more information.
Health Symposium with Expert Panel – Our Schools and COVID-19, Thursday, 3/25 at 7pm
You’re invited to join SMMUSD for a very special health symposium, Our Schools and COVID-19, on Thursday, March 25th at 7pm. The event will be moderated by State Senator Ben Allen and has an expert panel of speakers:

Distance Learning Plus Schedule starts on Tuesday 3/24 and Wednesday 3/25
Exciting news! Distance Learning Plus starts next week at Lincoln! Students can sign up for Distance Learning Plus Activities on Tuesday, March 23rd and Wednesday, March 24th.

Please see the sign up instructions for Distance Learning Plus Activities. ALL students should read and follow these instructions even if they don’t plan to come onto campus for enrichment activities or academic support. You can also watch a short video with sign up instructions here.
Don’t forget that Thursday, March 25th and Friday, March 26th are Minimum Days to allow for Teacher Work/Prep Time. See the Schedule.
